Regardless of how amazing your products or services are it can be somewhat disingenuous to big yourself up too much at a networking event.
However there is a way to convey your brilliance without appearing as if you’ve got an ego the size of a small country;
The answer: bring along a (happy) customer
“Live” testimonials are one of the most powerful ways of illustrating how your services impact a business and allows the recipient of the information a clear vision on how you may benefit them. An additional benefit is the status you confer on your customer, recognising them as an important and valued part of your business, worthy of introducing to your business network.
